There’ s a certain joy that riding a Vespa imparts. It’ s not sensible, they’ re not fast, they don’ t corner brilliantly, but somehow I always feel great – both on the ride and after. And I think its probably universal, somehow the marque touches us with grace. Life is always better on a Vespa. I think it comes down to a triumph of experience over engineering, there’ s an art, and we vespisti are all afficionados.
