INDIANS TO CELEBRATE IN BLIGHTY

August 28-30 sees the Annual Indian Motorcycle Rally in the UK. If you are looking to avoid the cold, damp climes of New Zealand winter and heading for the equally cool and possibly damp English summer, here is something to add to the to-do list.

CALIFORNIA SUPERBIKE SCHOOL... NOT JUST FOR SUPERBIKES

Julz Lamberton and Neil Chappell, more widely known as Chappy, are the new owners of the NZ branch of California Superbike School( CSS). Hardly new to those who have done these days previously, Chappy has been in the fold for years, both here and internationally as one of the coaches. We known among the track folk, Julz is keen to reach out to road riders as many are under the illusion that it is just for racers – it most certainly is not. The four levels train riders in deliberate stages. Levels one and two, in particular, are great for road riders as much as track or race people. Sure, the other two head more towards track but if

All is done very Americana, so massive BBQ, loads of big V-Twin noise, bands and a great time are all on the menu of the three-day party. It sounds like a totally out there weekend of culture clash in the very best way possible, old bean.
you just want to learn about your bike and your riding, then level one and two are the perfect way to safely come to grips with it all. The track is not some angry beast, it is simply the perfect controlled environment to learn bike skills and dynamics. There is no oncoming traffic, no potholes( imagine that!) and everyone is going the same way. You get assigned a coach for your small group and there is theory, discussion and track riding to put those new skills in place. If it sounds like your ideal gift to yourself, because you know you’ re worth it, hit up Julz and Chappy at California Superbike School and have the best day.
