AARON‘ COWBOY’ PLESSINGER RIDES AGAIN

TOM VIALLE & CHASE SEXTON CONQUER IN THE USA EAST

Red Bull KTM Racing have Aaron Plessinger’ s signature on a contract for 2026, meaning the flamboyant‘ mullet’ will take on a fifth season with the team. Always a crowd favourite, Plessinger’ s unique style on and off the track means he is not only a fierce competitor, scoring an overall win at the Foxborough round but is one of the riders the marketing team love to have within the fold. In a world where massive focus and training is the bread and butter of the sport, the rebellious look and ever-present smile has a fan base that transcends brands and pulls a wider audience in the US, particularly in the so-called‘ Cowboy States’ in the Mid-West.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’ s Tom Vialle has taken the title, successfully defending his AMA 250 East Supercross crown in the final round of the series. Chase Sexton also had a great night, taking his seventh title in the 450 class. Held at Salt Lake City’ s Rice-Eccles Stadium in front of a huge crowd, Vialle got a great start, right behind Haiden Deegan but made a few small errors and soon found himself back to fourth spot and doing the math, knew he needed to stay focussed and try to sweep up any points he could. Clawing his way slowly back, he saw Hammaker and Hamshire, who had passed him, both go down in a corner. Vialle could barely believe his luck. He had clawed back enough time to fly past the two riders and keep it tidy for a second place – all he needed to clinch the title. Meanwhile, while it was a win for Sexton on the night, he was left to rue what might have been in his battle with Cooper Webb, who won the title, despite seven wins for Sexton. Taking lessons to the outdoor season, Sexton feels he has become a more complete rider this season and although falling short for the title, has scored more wins this season and feels he has learned what didn’ t fire so well and is confident he will be a force in the summer season.
