It was a day worth celebrating for KTM as their machines were ridden to victory in both the MXGP and MX2 classes. Belgian rider, Lucas Coenen went 1-1 in the 450 field, giving the 2025 MXGP rookie his first overall win and sees him climb to third in the season’ s standings. With Gajser not scoring points in Switzerland, his handy lead has been trimmed by second placed Romain Febvre, while Coenen is in a tight points tussle with Glenn Coldenhof some 50 points behind the leading duo. Meanwhile, in the MX2 battle, German rider Simon Laengenfelder also kept the top step of the podium all to himself with a matching 1-1 result for Red Bull Racing KTM. His round winning performance sees him close the gap a little to points leader Kay de Wolf with the Dutchman’ s lead now a slim three points after the fast, flat and furious round in Switzerland.
