1968 Established by two former employees of Garelli ( Dutchman Henry Keppel and Italian Dr Mario Agrati ). Fantic the name is apparently a shortening of ‘ Fantastic ’.
1970 Fantic Caballero , a 50cc trailstyled bike a major hit 1973 Fantic Caballero 125 – a bigger version , powered by Minarelli
1981 125cc European Enduro Champions ( and 125cc ISDE champs ) with Gualtiero Brissoni
1985 / 86 / 88 World trials champions with Thierry Michaud ( plus 5x SSDT winners – 3x Thierry Michaud , 2x Steve Saunders ) 1995 Fantic production ceases 2017 Fantic brand acquired by the VeNetWork consortium ( immediately developing new 125 / 250 / 500 Caballeros , plus a range of E-mtbs )
2019 Fantic start a ‘ cooperation ’ with Yamaha that allows them to build a range of motocross and enduro models based on the Yamaha YZ / WR models
2019-23 Fantic wins 32 international titles including the 2022 Youth world enduro title with Harry Edmondson , 2022 & ‘ 23 Womens ’ world enduro title with Jane Daniels , and 2023 Junior world enduro title with Jed Etchells
