Moto Morini is a brand that appears to be pumping out a raft of new street and adventure models in overseas markets right now, and they’ re making their way to New Zealand. Having ridden the CF Moto 450MT at release a couple of years ago and being impressed by its bang-for-buck performance, I was keen to check out Moto Morini’ s Alltrhike 450, which is essentially a very similar offering. The Alltrhike should garner great interest as, like the 450MT, it’ s aimed squarely at new adventurers wanting something well-priced and less threatening than the physically larger 700cc-plus offerings. It’ ll also appeal to older adventurers wanting an easier ride and really just about anyone wanting to have a good fun, do-anything motorcycle, whether for commuting duties or weekend adventures, or both. There’ s also the added bonus of the Alltrhike offering an aura of Italian flair that comes with a heritage brand like Moto Morini.
