huge two days of racing was set to be on the cards for the Forestland Motorcycle Club, and it proved to be a very popular weekend for riders and spectators alike. 189 riders signed in for the first round of the popular NCES Enduro series on the Saturday morning. From the Youth class right to the Vinduro riders, the event had a bit of everything for everyone. The organisers had set out a 75km course with four special tests for the youth and Vinduro grades, and a 108km course with six special tests for the senior riders. Callum Du dson from Rotorua took the overall win in the Expert grade, but only just, from local part time racer Hunter Scott only 7 seconds behind him. Rounding out the top three was Taranaki youngster Sam Parker only another 19 seconds back. 16-year-old Angus Thomas from Gisborne was in a class of his own in the intermediate grade, winning it pretty easily from Sid Davis and Nathan Refoy, who rounded out the top three.
