PICKING IT UP My plan for the picking up the ES700 was a simple one , if ambitious . The idea was to fly to Auckland , turn up at GasGas HQ with a backpack and Kriega US30 and then ride 1200km of tar-seal and gravel back to Nelson . I figured , at the very least , I ’ d get an idea on comfort and long-haul capability . I ’ d been hoping GasGas ’ luggage rack was going to be ready in time for the trip ... sadly , it was on route from Australia .
