Billy Bolt( Husqvarna) took maximum points in the Serbian round of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship, adding 85 points to his season’ s swag. Bolt started the scoring spree with a win in Superpole, followed up with three wins from three starts, despite being involved in a first lap pileup in the final race. Bolt simply remounted, reset and soon reclaimed the lead. Once in front, he appeared to have another gear and managed to open a gap on a field of talented riders. Leading the season by a country mile on 312 points, Jonny Walker( Triumph) is holding second with 227 but is now some 85 points behind Bolt. Third is Mitch Brightmore( GASGAS) on 213, so the battle for second is still very much on. Although happy with the results so far, Bolt is still critical of his starts, making it harder than it needs to be but watching on, it is hard to fault and he seems to revel in catching the fast starters in no time on the tight courses. How he does it remains a mystery that the field are trying hard to unpick. They are fast running out of time.
