Marshal – whatever - but go . We have lost a few bloody good events of late , as in Paeroa ’ s Battle Of The Streets , Ports Of
Nelson is another . It is getting tougher to run events with the lack of crowds attending , let alone complying with woke noise ‘ allowances ’ and such like . Logistically , there is way more admin required now than back in the day when all you needed was a bunch of riders willing to sign a paper stating it was at their own risk and spectating was much the same . I implore you to go to as many motorsport events ( yes , even cars ) as you can . Make it the family day out , call it a date , whatever , just go . Now I have an urge to sit back and have a wee dram in silence .
