By about 2pm , the less-core moto guys had started to trickle away and myself and Jono found ourselves nabbing a bike and cutting lap after lap after lap on some pretty hard pack Ardmore soil . The handling of this bike ’ s package , mixed with how the engine delivers power makes for an easy , confident , fun , and really engaging ride . This is a bike I ’ d love to have in the garage for six months to see how it performs day-to-day , and not just a one-off perfect day in the dirt . Having heard nothing but good things about these bikes , I was very eager to see if the bike lived up to the hype . There were four new bikes to choose from on the day and , after standing around drooling over the sleek looks and quality fit and finish of the components on the bikes , I eagerly clambered aboard and got the bars , levers , and tyre pressures set to my liking . The Ardmore MX track had been well prepped , but the first session was greasy . I am usually very cautious and take a while to warm up to any kind of different bike .
