matters. The suspension action is a great mix between sporty control and touring comfort with the only slight down side being some overly firm feedback from nasty bumps, which is reasonable given the conditions of our back roads. The 8TT is a light feeling machine with intuitive, planted steering that is confidence inspiring, requiring no special rider talent for brisk, effortless progress. You feel right at home straight away. Add to this ergonomics that will suit a wide range of rider sizes and this Suzuki, with all its talents, are accessible to most riders. Even the 810mm seat height shouldn’ t be too daunting for shorter riders. Being a tall rider, the old school styled small fairing and low screen made little difference weather protection wise over the naked 8T. For me a higher screen would be much more effective. The Nissin brakes are very effective. Twin 310mm discs with 4 piston calipers at the front have a light lever feel and very positive effect on stopping power. The rear single 240mm disc likewise was also very good. Rear braking often has overly intrusive ABS which renders it largely ineffectual, but no such worries with this Nissin stopper.
