While all the above electronic systems certainly contribute to how the bike creates a great power delivery, it is the excellent torque, 78Nm between 3000 and 7500rpm, that is the icing on the cake for this engine. The fact is, this is a modestly powerful bike that punches well above its weight because of the lovely response and excellent flexibility.
CHASSIS A steel trellis frame ties the 203kg kerb weight( fuel tank full) 8TT together. KYB suspension is fitted at each end. 41mm USD forks at the front with 130mm of wheel travel and at the rear a linkage-driven single shock also has 130mm of travel. There is no damping adjustment at either end, but the shock is adjustable for spring preload.
