but I think it’ s all part of its real character. And that it has, in spades. It got a lot of admiring looks and it’ s a charming bike to hurtle round town on. It’ s not light, so it has heft on the road that strongly appeals. I liked the look of it very much indeed – it has a real presence. It’ s a motorcycle that looks like one, but I missed those ten horses, all the same.
THE SKINNY I think as a LAMS-approved motorcycle, it’ s a damn fine option. It could be taken offroad, if you were gung ho, but, like all modern scramblers, it’ s not truly built for serious offpiste work, but it’ ll do the business riding on gravel. It does have great street cred; a retro steed that has bags of appeal, won’ t frighten the neighbours of a morning, is as nimble as a gymnast, and will bring you the joy of motorcycling from a creditable marque. An’ all wiff a bit a‘ istory, eh Geezer?
