Sprint Race, meant another no-points race and a poor grid position for Race Two. Lowes has been strong in recovering positions when starting from a poor grid position in previous races but he wasn’ t able to repeat that magic in Race Two and finished in twelfth place. Four points from the weekend was a dismal haul and his worst of the season so far. Lorenzo Baldassarri had his best weekend of the season, eighth in qualifying for the lone GoEleven entrant wasn’ t a bad way to kick things off but he translated that into sixth in Race One and two fourth place finishes in the Sprint Race and Race Two. All of these were mature performances and whilst he couldn’ t bridge the gap to the front runners, his racecraft far exceeds expectations.
