Bulega & Lecuona
changed at Autodrom Most. It seems that if the FIM told Ducati to remove the fuel tank completely, they’ d still figure out a way to win.
BULEGA PUSHED BY LECUONA Bulega once again took out all three races after a masterclass lap late in qualifying put him on pole. In the races, Lecuona pushed Bulega harder than he has all season. In Race One, he worked a pass on Bulega and looked like he might be about to make a breakthrough but Bulega did what Bulega does, retook the lead, established a gap and took the chequered flag. Lecuona is absolutely the rider most likely to break Bulega’ s streak and a mistake or mechanical could gift him that win but, right now, he’ s showing signs that he might do it purely on form, it’ s getting that close. Bulega proved at Autodrom Most that he can dig deep when not leading a race and can maintain his pace even with Lecuona all over his tail. Lecuona is still learning the Ducati, still learning Bulega, and it looks like his time will come.
Nicolo Bulega- sixteen successive wins
