ROYAL ENFIELD THIRD STRONGEST AUTOMOTIVE BRAND GLOBALLY
If you thought you have been seeing more and more Royal Enfields out on the roads, you would be quite correct, no matter where in the world you are. The Iconic Indian brand has seen a 30 percent surge in brand value, now coming in at USD 1.2 billion. Brand Finance’ s Automotive Industry report places the manufacturer, who is now massive in the 250-750cc market, in third place in their global analysis. With dealers in over 80 countries and a network of some 3200 stores, yep, you have been seeing more and that trend is picking up speed. As the longest running motorcycle brand, it is a fairly recent phenomenon here in NZ. It was big back in the early days but quiet for many years, as they focused on their domestic market but the revitalised brand is now larger than it ever has been, here and everywhere.
