The final tally of participants is in. Globally over 127,000 riders raised $ 7.6 million USD for the cause, making the DGR 2025 the largest ever. Here in NZ, over $ 180,000 was raised, again higher than any previous year, giving a sense of satisfaction and optimism to the hard-working organising team who are already well into the planning of next year’ s event. Now part of the fabric of the motorcycling calendar, gather your mates, borrow someone else’ s if you don’ t have any, and dress up and join in. It is not a long or taxing ride, more a social event and fundraiser that is aimed at men’ s health. It is also quite the spectacle as all and sundry are turned out with as much aplomb as possible.
