DUCATI POP THE CORKS
Celebrations at Borgo Panigale in Bologna,
Italy as production of the Ducati Desmo450 MX saw the first bikes roll off the production line. The factory units have been successful with Jeremy Seewer standing on the podium for the second time for Ducati at the French round of the FIM MXGP. There to help with proceedings were Tony Cairoli and Alessandro Lupino, who were key to the development of the new model. The famous Italian brand is a relative newcomer to the discipline but with the technical backing of its successful MotoGP and WSBK group, combined with the Cairoli factor, they have hit the ground at race-winning pace. Ducati have a bunch of models in development as they embark on creating a full range of dirt bikes in the very near future.
