means you rarely need to know your RPMs, but I’ m of the opinion that it is always better had than not. You could have the minimalist aesthetic, without taking away the benefit of function, but I digress. Also missing is an engine temperature gauge. While most of the time this is a non-issue, it would be reassuring to be certain that your engine is humming along, not slowly transforming into an expensive paperweight. There is no built-in connectivity or navigation,
but Royal Enfield does offer its Tripper pod as an accessory. Beyond that, there are no advanced electronics; no cruise control, no rain modes, and certainly no quick-shifter. ABS is your only rider aid, as is legally mandated. The Shotgun keeps things simple. It’ s minimalist by design, and if you like your motorcycle with fewer distractions and more mechanical purity, this is a bike that will suit you just fine. Motorcycling the old-fashioned way, and all the better for it.
