as well, so those nerdy alchemists have been burning the midnight oil a bunch. The grunty looking tread shows hints of S-series ancestry and one of the key dry weather performance upgrades is tread stability under load and makes sense that when you redesign the carcass, you can’ t just stick the old tread design on and call it a day. For many, most really, the T33 has plenty of sports ability and doesn’ t need to be roasting hot to be inside its optimal temperature window. This translates to a versatile option that most riders are unlikely to find the outer limits of, whereas riding on really racy options in cold, wet conditions is much more of a compromise and those really track-focused ones, well, unless you are keeping them hot and sticky, maybe getting double the miles from something like the T33 actually makes sense … Due to circumstances completely caused by my foolish self, it will be a few months before I can try to wear the Bridgestone Battlax T33 tyres out. I surpassed my talent limit while racing and am grumpily sitting at home with a newly reinforced titanium tie-rod, as in clavicle, and neck trauma. As soon as I can, I shall make up for lost time.
Nice to be so excited to wear out a set of tyres. I have tried some that had the entirely opposite effect, consigning them to the skip bin rather than hate every inch as I either wore them down or they wore me down. I’ m looking forward to winter.
