settles the bike ready to lean it over and hunt for the exit . With this new found ability , I fear that I may have become a bit of a ‘ sports bike pest ’ and it ’ s all because of the GSX-8S . It has such a playful nature , especially when you encounter open road twisties such as the Remutaka hill road . If you get a clear run with no ‘ rolling roadblocks ’, you can have an absolute blast , leaning the bike right over , and powering out , before applying a bit of one-finger brake , and tipping it into the next corner . Feeling the rubber grip the road , and the bike asking for more throttle . All this fun and exhilaration ... without even breaking the speed limit . The other day , I went up and down about seven times , just for fun . Yep , very pesty behaviour .
TRACK DAY HANKERING The other day I did 100km on the GSX-8S without stopping , and although my ass was numb , and I have been suffering for the past few days as my right hamstring is radiating pain up my lower back ( bike related I suspect , but I am getting old ), I ’ m keen to get back out
