shooting their favourite watering hole and the second stringers all going to the correct sundeck , The Jelly Fish . After a pint , the group reunited and signed off , then demobbed to shower and dine and prepare for the next day . Following dinner , we approached our camp to find a cop car at the gate and next to our unit there were four more cop cars and dogs . Eventually they left and no one was taken away in cuffs , leaving us to search the net and speculate what had happened .
DAY TWO After a quick safety chat , we were off into the brisk morning air with the corner men doing their stuff . Heading up a valley we got onto a farm track , a very special track as it turned out , to the boundary of the predator fence for the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary . We went up and up some more until the track turned away from the fence to negotiate the steepest part . A couple of the twin cylinder bikes found this a bit OTT and the sweepers helped them to the top . Bush cover meant not many SVs , so there was
