TRIUMPH MOTORCYCLES
Mike Cross - Triumph Motorcycles
Despite having to postpone the event earlier in the year due to Covid , our first TTAR was very well attended by both Triumph owners and riders of other brands alike - something that was great to see as we wanted the event to be open to everyone . Friday evening was most enjoyable , getting to know some riders , and it was a reasonably early night for most in preparation for the morning ’ s ride . There were two routes to choose from and the most popular seemed to be the gravel route . All riders reported back that they enjoyed the varied and well thought out route .
For those not wishing to ride the gravel , or not having an appropriate bike for gravel ( myself included ), there was an excellent road route to follow . Almost 400km of mostly new roads that I ’ d not ridden before showed the expertise and experience of the Kiwi Rider team in planning the route . It ’ s a day ’ s riding I ’ d definitely like to repeat . I ’ d like to say thank you to the riders and pillions who made the TTAR such a fun event - it was a very enjoyable Saturday night eating , drinking and laughing with you all . I look forward to welcoming you to the Triumph Tiger Adventure Ride next year .
