T he sunny seaside town of Raglan in the Waikato played host to the first Triumph Tiger Adventure Ride . Sponsored by Triumph Motorcycles New Zealand , the TTAR attracted over 70 riders and pillions to sample the best tar seal and gravel the region had to offer . Those who completed the full gravel route had a big day on the road , but were treated to hidden stretches of gravel most riders would never find otherwise . The road riders had a bit of a quicker route and most were back propping up the bar when the gravel riders started to come back in . Triumph provided a heap of prizes including t-shirts and caps for the prize giving , with one lucky rider coming away with the once-in-a-lifetime prize of a month loan of a Tiger 900 Rally Pro .
