NORTON SETS TO BOOST WORKFORCE
T
he new owners of beleaguered British
firm Norton Motorcycles are wasting no
time in their fight to bring the brand back
to glory, with the recent announcement that
the company is looking to expand the Norton
Motorcycles workforce.
Late last month, Norton announced that the
company was seeking to boost its workforce
at the Donnington Hall based factory.
Vacancies ranged across a wide range of
pivotal roles within Norton, including the
role of Principal Powertrain Engineer and
Design Engineer - the very people that design
Norton’s machines from the ground up.
Earlier this year Norton Motorcycles was put
into administration following allegations of
financial mismanagement by former CEO
Stuart Garner.
After a process which led to the iconic
British brand being put up for sale, Norton
was bought by Indian firm TVS Motor
Company for £16million ($31.8million).
