BUCHANAN BAGS POINTS AT SACHSENRING

Our flying Kiwi had a solid round in Germany, scoring points for thirteenth position at the fabled circuit. Right in the fight in qualifying, Cormac was in the hunt until his rear tyre started to reach for the white flag. Decision time saw him stay smooth and manage the tyre wear in the final laps and not risk it all to make up a spot or two. Thirteenth is a great result in Moto3 where the first twenty can often be covered by a tea towel anyway, so a nice finish to the first half of the season and when the second half gets underway, it is at Silverstone, which Cormac knows well. Great to see the smiles in his team garage and it will be awesome to see his progress from here now that he is almost but not quite back to full fitness after a massive off a couple of rounds ago. Bring it on, Cormac!.
