my TF250X MX-machine. The cross-country model feels like it performs better in the low-tomidrange power, which is perfect for riding in the trees and taking on technical terrain. The 250C also has a very good base KYB coilspring suspension setup that feels race ready straight out of the crate. It’ s hard to look past the fact it comes from the showroom kitted out with a bash plate, 18-inch rear wheel, side-stand and a clear tank to make it easy to see your fuel level. From the riding I’ ve done, I think the TF250C feels like a very versatile bike that would be perfect for any level of rider and any style of riding. It can do everything from being a capable trail riding bike through to a full-on race machine.
RILEY CARGILL Like Millen, I found the new TF250C to be incredibly smooth. It’ s a really fun and easy to ride bike. Compared to my 250X, the TF250C definitely has noticeably more bottom-tomidrange power, making it easier to ride through tight terrain, and it actually gave me a greater sense of control- perfect for trail riders and XC / enduro guys. The 250X feels stronger up at the top end and slightly lighter and more agile in faster terrain. Overall, both bikes are powerful and impressive to ride. The combination of strong Brembo brakes and KYB suspension provides excellent handling, stability, and confidence, while delivering strong, usable power throughout the rev range.
