THE UPSHOT The 2023 KTM 250 XC-F is an awesome machine , widely updated and reconfigured for the better . It ’ s a rocket . Not always do we see a machine that largely looks the same as prior models , but is extensively upgraded and all those upgrades make a difference . Do not confuse this update with a case of Bold New Graphics . Some new bikes I have bought have been worse than the prior model in some aspect or another .
Which makes this KTM an impressive result . The engine is better – quick , torquey and easy to ride fast . The chassis is better – lower at the rear , lighter and more compact feeling with improved handling . The suspension is better – plusher while remaining bottom resistant . And it looks great in KTM ’ s usual way . If you ’ re in the market for a serious off-road race bike that ticks all the boxes , then I reckon the 2023 250XC-F is the bike for you .
