What has twin cams and weighs in at 101kg dry? The new Beta 250 RXF, that’ s what. In what has to be one of the biggest developments in a long time from Beta, this new 250cc mount has goodness dripping off it everywhere. Designed in-house at Beta HQ in Florence, Italy, the new 250 RXF is a 249.3cc dual-cam dual-injected masterpiece with F1-inspired Box-In-Box piston technology. Smooth, fast and light, the Beta 250 RFX utilises magnesium covers, forged crank, forged conrod, launch control, quick-shift functionality and dual mapping. All of the components adorning this new MX2 machine are from those hard to reach top shelves. Pricing is still in the yet to be confirmed basket but will be announced soon and the bikes are due later this year. Beta has thrown a raft of delicious and desirable upgrades to the rest of the 2027 range as well, but the star of the range just has to be the new kid on the block, introducing the Beta 250 RFX.
HUSQVARNA’ S EIGHT PACK OF ENDURO
Husqvarna Mobility has thrown back the covers on its 8-model enduro range for 2027 and here in NZ we’ re getting all of them. Adorned in very Scandinavian white powdercoated frames, the ice-cool Huskys certainly look the business. Swedish-inspired graphics add to that frosty demeanour and the range rides on WP XACT closed cartridge front fork, matched beautifully with WP XACT rear shocks for the perfect blend that enduro requires, straight out of the crate. Brembo, Twin Air, Pro Taper, GSK, ODI and Michelin all contribute to this new model year’ s goodness and all models carry the success of previous seasons, refining and innovating each and every season to bring you the best of the best – and the new models look so fine.
