like I’ m riding with training wheels, but this one is well placed and gives no missed shifts. As someone who daily commutes on a bike, I would be remiss to not mention this caused less scuffing on my left shoe from my more typical setup. The rider aids and extras are also better than I expected. Traction control is easy to switch off, the dual-channel ABS works well, and the digital speedometer is intuitive, classy, and easy to use. Praise be whomever decided to install the 3.6-inch TFT display with a decent refresh rate; I enjoy knowing what my speed and revs are right now, rather than half a second ago as I’ ve noticed with other bikes at this price point. GPS is available through a mildly off-putting dedicated CF-moto app( I’ ll stick with my phone thanks).
LED lighting comes as standard, so no bulbs to change when they inevitably pop in an inconveniently dark location.
THE SKINNY The CFMOTO 450CL-C won me over far more than I initially expected. My typical aversion to cruisers means I probably would not buy one myself, but that’ s a‘ me’ thing. It looks fantastic, sounds brilliant, rides smoothly, has great build quality, and enough power to be fun without pretending to be something it is not. If you like the cruiser style, this is a bike to absolutely take a seriously good look at, and at $ 8490 currently, represents very good value for your dollar and a hefty $ 1600 saving over similar offerings elsewhere.
