to-day maintenance( which I definitely do every time). You lose some of the cheap-andeasy adjustability of a chain, but on this sort of bike, that trade-off makes sense.

The levers are large, adjustable, and generally friendly to human hands( nice of them). The front single 320mm disc brake does need a decent tug to generate larger stopping forces, and at speed I usually found myself switching to two fingers rather than casually feathering it with one. Not a deal-breaker, but worth noting. The six-speed gearbox with its CF-SC slipper clutch maintained very smooth shifts all throughout the range, with little rev-matching effort required. The heel-toe shifter also deserves praise. I normally treat these with aversion, largely because they make me feel
