TRIUMPH SCRAMBLER 400 XC HEADS OUR WAY

Triumph’ s 400 machines have been a barnstorming success in all markets. And following the Scrambler and Street models, Triumph has now announced a new XC model, which is heading to our shores in September. Armed with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels built on bullet-proof Excel rims, along with a high front guard, the Scrambler is sure to be a hit with riders not wanting open class stats on backroads and gravel as well as those who’ re looking for a very cool LAMS ride. Adding to the tougher stance is the alloy sump guard and flyscreen. Triumph’ s silky-smooth single comes in three colourways and has very retro-cool tank infills and kneepads, completing an authentically cool visage. Originally available in the Indian market, the XC is confirmed as an NZ model, the spoked Scrambler model has been eagerly awaited since it made its first appearance in those far off lands. Pricing for the new machine is set at $ 10,995 plus on road costs.
