Kiwi Rider July 2025 Vol.2 | Page 35

update list is short, they’ re all the right changes, with more expected for 2026.
FINAL THOUGHTS If you’ re an expert-level racer chasing podiums and lap records, you’ ll eventually want to stiffen things up and dig into the suspension. But if you’ re like me, someone who wants to enjoy a 450 without needing a physiotherapist afterward, this bike is honestly a bit of a gem. It’ s not perfect, but it’ s far from average. It’ s calm, confidence-inspiring, and surprisingly easy to ride. And as the months have gone on, I’ ve been finding more to like each ride. In a world full of aggressive MX weapons, the Beta 450 RX is a bit of a friendly beast. Big thanks to the crew at Beta NZ for loaning me the 450 RX over the past few months. It’ s been an awesome opportunity to really get to know the bike, and I’ ve come away impressed with what Beta’ s bringing to the MX scene. Looking forward to what’ s next, I am so keen to swing a leg over their new MX 2T range, especially the 350 RX, and see how those things rip. Fingers crossed.
