Kiwi Rider July 2025 Vol.1 | Page 61

THE SKINNY Overall, the blacked out engine, creamy white, flat-bottomed tank with black and white checkerboard stripe, Enfield monogrammed grips, and ribbed seat all present a cohesive, attractive machine, one that rides very well indeed. Not only that, but the level of tech is useful without being confusing. This is high praise. The single clock in analog format presents fuel, rev, speed, and gear pos clearly and cleanly, but it also has Bluetooth connection for music control and an excellent mapping and nav system powered by Google Maps. As a modern bike with a retro look, excellent ride character, a top speed over 160k’ s, a fairly useful dirt road capability, and a terrific level of finish. I think Royal Enfield and the Chennai crew has delivered something special. With a three year warranty and less than $ 12,000 brand spanking, I’ d get down to Experience and ask if you can borrow my bike.
