‘ 23 Rallye , more than 200 riders gathered at Rotorua ’ s Lakes Ranch to ride the stunning tarseal , gravel and challenge sections organised by Kiwi Rider , the BMW Motorcycle Owner ’ s Club and BMW Motorrad NZ . This year ’ s event will be even bigger and better ! We ’ re putting on a couple of beautiful routes - one for gravel riders and one for road riders , with some breakout off-road ‘ challenge ’ sections for those with suitable tyres wanting to push themselves and their bikes a bit further . Gravel and challenge sections will be in Pukemara Forest and at Ben Townley ’ s off-road park at Rainbow Mountain . The GS Rallye isn ’ t just for BMW riders though , it ’ s brand agnostic - we welcome riders of all makes and models . Entrants will be treated to a day of great riding , two evening meals , two breakfasts , an event t-shirt , sticker pack and the safety of a sweep vehicle . BMW Motorrad NZ and some of our suppliers will be providing some fantastic spot prizes , and 10 lucky riders will get the opportunity to stay in the Lone Rider MotoTent Village over the course of the event too . With some of the best riding in New Zealand , great company , plenty of good food , spot prizes and lots of social banter with like-minded riders ... it ’ s no wonder it ’ s almost full .
