Royal Enfield has launched the soon-toarrive Meteor in India , with the 650cc cruiser set to arrive in New Zealand in the coming months . The third bike in Royal Enfield ’ s 650cc lineup , the Super Meteor was first unveiled at the EICMA Show in Milan last year and will come in two distinct variants . Split between the Super Meteor 650 and the Super Meteor 650 Tourer are in seven distinct colourways to choose from . Pricing is yet to be revealed , but we expect it to sit in the same ballpark as Royal Enfield ’ s established 650cc models – the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 . In terms of the development Royal Enfield has put into the Super Meteor , it looks rather thorough . RE says the Super Meteor has been rigorously tested on proving tracks , Belgian PAVE , and the highways , byways , towns and city centres of India , the UK and Spain , clocking up over one million kilometres in the process . Now we know why it ’ s taken so long for another 650 to join the Royal Enfield stable .
