BILLY’ S BOLTING... AGAIN

Billy Bolt and his Husqvarna FE 350 were flawless at the second round of the FIM SuperEnduro World Championships in Riesa, Germany. Showing his intentions, Bolt was second fastest in practice, despite clearly experimenting as he learned the track. Using this knowledge of the circuit, Bolt then scored the three bonus points by winning the Superpole with the fastest time. Importantly, that also meant he could pick his starting gate for the first race. Maybe not the perfect start, with a small glitch letting key rival Jonny Walker through. From there, it was game on. The two swapping positions with some amazing passes and maximum pressure being applied and absorbed. That was until a late error by Walker that Bolt didn’ t pass up, slipping by and then slowly getting away. He eventually crossed the line with a five-second margin. The second race is run in reverse grid, so it was a determined effort for Bolt to get past as quickly as possible. He successfully did so, igniting the German crowd in the indoor event centre.

From there, with zero mistakes made, Bolt dominated, taking the win and setting himself up for the gate pick in the third and final race. Perfect start, perfect ride, perfect win to end a perfect round as Bolt took every single point on offer.
