A
chance conversation with old mate ‘ Tommo ’ led to him telling me the BMW F750GS was the nicest bike in the BMW GS lineup . As the owner of a R1250GS Rallye , this took me by surprise . But , I was all ears as Tommo has been around riding and owning GS models even longer than our esteemed leader , Mr Vege McPhee . That probably predates the Jurassic period … so , quite some while ago now . Yes , it is a bold statement when you consider the very slick BMW GS models on offer today
from the German behemoth of adventure motorcycling , but after a week or so aboard the 2023 BMW F750GS … I kinda found myself agreeing with Tommo .
UNOBTRUSIVE COMPANION Now , nicest does not mean the fastest , the most exciting or possessed with the most brutal braking known to man . Neither is it a term used to describe a bike capable of drifting through a turn at over 200km / h with the front wheel
