Triumph ’ s Street and Speed Triples go headto-head in Ray ’ s search for a new bike .

I ’ ve been looking for a new motorcycle to add to my stable . I already have a Tenere 700 adventure bike , so have been looking for something a little more sporty and road-focused to mix things up a bit . It ’ s no secret that my blood bleeds blue . I ’ ve been a Yamaha fanboy for a number of years . I ’ ve owned two first-gen MT07s , and a WR250 , as well asa my current Tenere 700 . I ’ ve been looking around and it seems to me , apart from possibly the Gen 2 Tracer 900 , bikes from
Yamaha seem … umm … ugly - getting more and more angular with this i-robot vibe . They also seem lacking in tech and modern “ nice to haves ”. I ’ m well aware that looks are subjective , but most , if not all , of the current lineup just doesn ’ t float my boat . So , with a space in my garage and my blue blood
