seat height of 790mm . Pumping out 115hp and 92Nm of torque , the new Multistrada V2 runs slightly shorter first and second gear ratios to make city and technical off-piste riding easier . The variable valve timing and heavier flywheel should mean it is silky smooth off the bottom and by 3500rpm there is 70 % of the max torque available and that curve means the grunt stays there all the way through the rev-range . Naturally , Ducati ’ s Quick Shift 2.0 assists from there . More relaxed ergos , particularly for the pillion , are all part of the new upgraded bike , which
runs an aluminium monocoque frame and the engine is incorporated as a stressed member , also helping shed those 18kg . Light , narrow-waisted , lean and powerful , the new Ducati Multistrada V2 also has the long 30,000km intervals for valve clearance checks , making it an easy bike to have as your daily ride , tourer , backroad weapon , adventure mount or all of the above . It has modes and settings for anything . So , despite having a four-year unlimited km warranty and the 4EVEr Ducati roadside assist , you are unlikely to ever need it . Still , nice to have up your sleeve .
