OK, so it is a stretch to be able to claim anything about the Hunter brothers but since we are neighbours, we will support‘ our’ guys in the big sandpit in the U. S of A. Hunter Lawrence scored his second runner spot in a row, hard on the heels of Eli Tomac. He beat him in one race but couldn’ t repeat the deal. He is running a hard-fought second in the SX standings and is not far off the heels of Tomac and is learning fast. Naturally, if he manages to pull off the win at the next round, we will concede the pavlova, Vegemite and possibly a band or two and claim the Lawrences as our own.
