MOTOFEST GETS ADVENTUROUS !

MotoFest has been flying the flag for Kiwi motorcylists at Hampton Downs for multiple years now , but with the event closely tied to the NZSBK series , it wasn ’ t the most adventurous . That is , until now . Kicking into gear the weekend of March 2-3 and based out of Hampton Downs is AdventureFest , offering two 150km adventure loops around the Waikato while the NZSBK paddock prepares to tear up the racetrack . The rides will run for Saturday & Sunday with GPS guidance and are suitable for moderate rider ability . Take that as you will , because the course will be set out by none other than KTM ambassador Chris Birch . The course will also include loops at Thundercross Valley Dirt Bike Park on both days , a stop at the BelRay Cross Country on Saturday followed by taking on the Trail loop at the BelRay Cross Country course the following day . The course will loop back to Hampton Downs Motorsport Park for lunch each day with time allowed to watch the Superbikes in action before the next loop . Visit the Star Insure Legends Garage , where you will find a collection of amazing classic race bikes and you can meet the event host , MotoGP commentator Simon Crafar as well as NZ Motorcycling Legends Graeme Crosby , Aaron Slight and Andrew Stroud .
