that aggressive look . Even the paint options are all dark and brooding , with the Scout Rogue available in three hues - Sagebrush Smoke , Black Smoke Midnight and Stealth Gray . If the look of the new Scout Rogue is appealing , but you don ’ t want to trade in your existing Scout , good news ! KTM ’ s super sharp 890 Duke R is getting a fresh new look for 2022 . Already renowned for its ultra sharp handling and tight performance package , to mark its third year in production KTM is freshening things up with a new premium hue of matt paint . Called ‘ Atlantic Blue ’, the colour is reminiscent of the palate used on the KTM RC16 GP race bike and was also recently added as an option to the 890 Duke R ’ s big bad brother - the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R . Boasting an impressive 121hp and 99Nm of torque from its 889cc LC8c engine , KTM has left the nuts and bolts of the 890 Duke R alone for 2022 .
That means in addition to the unchanged engine , the tubular steel chassis and adjustable WP APEX suspension remain the same as the 2021 model , while the comprehensive electronics package includes Cornering ABS , Cornering MTC and a selection of ride modes all backed by a 6D lean angle system . The first examples of the 2022 890 Duke R are being unleashed upon the world this month , with New Zealand delivery and pricing to be confirmed at the time of writing .
