So , now I ’ ve had that set of Shinko Adventure tyres fitted to my CRF250L Rally for over a year and , roughly , 6000km now . I guess it ’ s about time I gave an update on how they ’ re going .
WHY DID I CHOOSE THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE ? Prior to mounting the Shinko ’ s , I was using a set of Avon Trailrider tyres on the Rally for everything from commuting to gravel road riding . Despite the name , these are more of a road tyre than a trail suitable tyre , and , with Covid putting paid to my regular highway trips
