For 2025 , BMW ’ s five-model R18 range gets a slew of updates . Compliance to the new Euro 5 + standard comes via some tuning , but even meeting this stricter standard , the 2025 engines produce more torque than before . There are styling updates as well as a new 18-inch rear wheel on some models . The five models in the range are the R18 , R18 Classic , R18 Roctane , R18B and R18 Transcontinental . All feature the same torque and power figures from the 1802cc engine . There ’ s 67kW ( 91hp ) of Boxer power and torque has been upped 5Nm to 163Nm at 3000 rpm . From 2000 to 4000rpm , a whopping 150Nm of torque is available at any time . The R18 gets a more dynamic design style that includes new silencers and a comfier seat , as well as an 18-inch rear wheel to replace the 16-incher it had previously ( although you can still spec the bike with a 19 / 16-inch combo should you so wish ). 18 KIWI RIDER for a more nostalgic look , the front wheel is now a 19-incher rather than 16 , daytime running lights and a USB-C socket . The Roctane is the newest bike in the line-up , so has received less updates , most noticeably new colour options and the new Comfort Package , which includes Hill Start Control , lockable fuel filler cap , tyre pressure monitor ( RDC ) and heated grips . As a Bagger , the R18B has new styling and paint options ( including the Blacked Out and Option 719 , which are also available on the other models ) and the Comfort package with Hill Start Control , lockable fuel cap , RDC , central locking and seat heating . The Transcontinental now has a Favourites button for quick access to settings , a new additional colour scheme : Two-Tone Dragonfire Red Metallic which comes with the push rods and intake silencer in Dark Chrome .
