and MotoMania next year), it is Justin Reid who heads the Ninja class, while in the Hyosungs, Scott Findlay saw his winning streak broken by an elusive 0.005 seconds in the 1-Hour race, but he continues to comfortably lead the Hyosung class. Phillip Law and Angus Ravenwood comfortably secured the Sidecar title for the season, having taken nine wins from 12 starts; but both Peter Goodwin & George Vennell and Dave McArthur & Jordan Burley tasted a victory each at the final round. Rogan Chandler( S1000RR) was fastest in Senior, along with Ray Clee( GSXR-1000) as the only two riders to dip into the 1:04s on the day. But Luca Durning( S1000RR) and Dave Sharp( CBR1000RR-R) were on their heels, with Sharp emerging as the Formula Auckland Series winner, having scored points in every race. Consistency wins championships, with one non-points finish at Round One being the difference back to Ray Clee, who was impressively quick all Series. Ian Reed( S1000RR) completed an almost perfect season( 11 from 12) in Formula Auckland( 1:09), while in Supersport 600 it was the lone ZX6R of Jesse Stroud who had to fend off the trio of D6M KTM RC8Cs of Cameron Leslie, Hamish Simpson and Logan Rowell. Leslie had the edge and scooped the Series title, after another four wins on the day. Both Leslie and Stroud were circulating in the 1:06s. The Intermediate category has given all season, with full grids and exceptional action through the field. The highlight was the ProTwin 650; and Cameron Leslie( YZF-R7) complemented his Supersport 600 Series victory with the ProTwin title – by just six points over Tyler King( YZF-R7). Zak Fuller and the Honda CBR650R made a potent combination, and Fuller sealed the Superlite Series title over the GSX-8Rs of Jesse Stroud and Ray Clee. Although Stroud did bag a second win for the season in the final race, having previously won a race at Round One. The Fuller / CBR combo lapping in the 1:9s made it tough work for everyone, with only Stroud able to match the pace. In her first season of competition, Alyssa Boyd( GT250R) wrapped up the ProLite Series title by 6.5 points over Troy Fowles( GT250R), an outstanding result in the Junior category. And if that wasn’ t close enough for you – the one point margin in Supersport 150 Troy Stephens( YZF-R15) had over Samuel Chave( R15) should get your attention. Billy Macrae
