MACATTACK LOOKS BACK

Cormac Buchanan didn’ t have the perfect final weekend to his rookie Moto3 season but even his critics couldn’ t help but notice it was a pretty decent year for him. Finishing in the middle of‘ that pack’ is a fine result. Three top ten finishes, a swathe of Q2 appearances and, despite some tough luck, a really solid and honest season for the intrepid Southerner. That bad luck saw him strike someone’ s spilled oil in the final round’ s practice and his bike actually hit him in the back while they were sliding and spinning. Needless to say it was a tough race with a battered body but he got on with the job and rode well, just lacking the fire a little as the pain took its toll. Straight into looking at the data, strategising to take from lessons learned and plans to start next season in top form, the year he described as the best year of his life so far is, hopefully, going to be eclipsed by his next season racing with the best racers on the planet. Stay tuned as we follow Cormac’ s 2026 FIM Moto3 season.
