One of the most successful 250 riders of all time, Tom Vialle returns‘ home’ to Europe and there is a twist to the tale. Vialle has signed on with Honda HRC in the MXGP class. In what is a massive step for what many thought was the 250cc specialist, the opportunity to step up onto the Honda CRF450R just felt right with how he is feeling with his racing and where the big Honda is in its present form. Too good an opportunity to pass up, Vialle leaves a happy hunting ground in the US and his first MXGP start with the new machine will ironically be literally back home. He starts the MXGP class foray at the opening round in Paris, France, in front of an expectant home crowd. It just happens to be at a track that he has previously won in the MXON in 2023, so look out for the flying Frenchman when the season kicks off. Looking back at his previous few years, there is not much he hasn’ t won, so the new challenge will spark him up.
