all , but there are things I liked about the R , and some stuff that I didn ’ t . It ’ s quite low with a seat height of 773mm , and that ’ s great , because you need a lot of purchase with your legs and feet when parking and moving in confined spaces - did I say weighty ? 294kg wet . No doubt the castaluminium single-sided swing arm at rear , and the driveshaft , add a bit , but it has great visuals with that huge rear wheel clear and clean . The bars seem flatter than I remember and tended to pull me forward a little , but after I adjusted to it , I enjoyed the increased feeling of immediacy with the bike - particularly in cornering , and it will lean hard without scraping pegs . The TFT display is fairly clear and I think they ’ ve intentionally kept it small for cosmetic reasons - as it pops towards you like a sort of plinth - any larger and it would change the aesthetic to be similar to adventurer-biker ’ s techno-whizzery . Not a good look . But it has rider aids , four settings of course : Rain , Road , Sport , and Rider-configurable , and offers assists with cornering ABS too .
